Is Hillary Clinton always this out of touch, or is today just a very special occasion?
The former Democratic Party presidential nominee actually believes most media coverage is biased against Democrats.
‘RIGHT-WING ADVOCACY PROPAGANDA’
Clinton made her argument Tuesday during a “Pod Save America” podcast, which is put on by four former aides to President Obama: Jon Favreau, Dan Pfeiffer, Jon Lovette and Tommy Vietor. She claimed Democrats are at a “disadvantage” when it comes to news reporting.
“I think we are facing a couple of very difficult obstacles,” she said. “First, the other side has dedicated propaganda channels. That’s what I call Fox News. It has outlets like Breitbart and crazy Infowars and things like that. In this particular election, it was aided and abetted by the Russians and the role that Facebook and other platforms played. We are late to that. You know, we did not understand how a reality TV campaign would so dominate the media environment. And I confess, I was trying to do everything I could to build on the success of President Obama’s campaign. I had a lot of people you guys know involved in the campaign. We were really proud of it, but boy it was tough to break through.
“So I think the Democrats can do a lot, but they are still going to face a very difficult media environment. And we’ve got to figure out how we’re going to break through. I mean, obviously, more podcasts, more other ways of communicating so voices can be heard and real positions can be understood is part of it. But we’re still at a disadvantage.”
Hillary also ripped Democrats for not being “more willing to invest in media that can be competitive.”
“Cause what you’ve got is a right-wing advocacy propaganda, and you’ve got a kind of mainstream media that engages in false equivalency,” she charged.
Democrats, she said, have a difficult time “trying to navigate through that, to get the coverage that is really going to reflect he reality that you’re facing out there on the campaign.”
STUDY: 91 PERCENT OF TRUMP NEWS COVERAGE IS NEGATIVE
Ironically, Hillary made her statements on the same day findings from a new study by the Media Research Center revealed broadcast evening newscasts have been downright hostile in their coverage of President Trump.
Hillary is right about one thing: Trump still dominates the nightly news. Since his inauguration Jan. 20, President Trump has received more media coverage than President Obama received in his last two years as president.
But that media coverage hasn’t favored the president.
“Analyzing the networks’ spin makes it clear that the goal of all of this heavy coverage is not to promote the president, but to punish him,” reported NewsBusters, a website of the Media Research Center, or MRC. “In June, July and August, broadcast evening news coverage of Trump was 91 percent negative — worse than the astounding 89 percent negative spin we calculated during the first three months of the administration, usually a traditional honeymoon period for new presidents.”
The MRC study found that news coverage on ABC’s “World News Tonight,” CBS “Evening News” and NBC “Nightly News” has been aggressively anti-Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign and throughout 2017.
Hillary heaps blame on media for her 2016 loss
Nonetheless, as WND recently reported, Hillary has even blamed the media for her 2016 election loss. She faulted the media in general and the New York Times for covering her email scandal.
“The use of my email account was turned into the biggest scandal since lord knows when. And you know, in [the] book I’m just using everything that anybody else said about it besides me to basically say this was the biggest nothing-burger ever.”
In her new book, “What Happened,” Clinton also says she was “ticked off” and “almost physically sick” because NBC “Today Show” host Matt Lauer focused on her email scandal during an interview.
“Lauer had turned what should have been a serious discussion into a pointless ambush,” she wrote.

For almost 20 years, Hillary has lashed out at Internet-driven, alternative media. It was in 1998 that the Drudge Report introduced the world to Monica Lewinsky.
She blamed a “vast right-wing conspiracy” for the scandal before evidence emerged that led to her husband’s impeachment and his infamous explanation, “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.”
Hillary: If I had won, ‘I would have been seen as a genius’
In other Hillary news, the twice failed presidential candidate also said Tuesday that, had she won the 2016 election, the American people would have seen her as a “genius.”
“Well, I thought it was pretty revolutionary that I was the first woman to have a realistic chance of becoming president,” she said in a WNYC interview. “So I don’t know how any woman who is not familiar to people, since we have so many hurdles to overcome, could have even been in that position that I found myself.
“So if I won, you know, I would have been seen as a genius, my campaign would have been as perfect,” she said. “I understand all of that.”
‘What happened in Benghazi? What happened to Seth Rich?’
And during a book-signing event Tuesday, Hillary was hit with a barrage of questions from conservative commentator Laura Loomer.
“So the American people would like to know: What happened to your 33,000 emails? What happened in Benghazi?” Loomer asked.
Hillary laughed and replied, “Go read the book.”
But Loomer kept going: “What happened to the millions of dollars that was supposed to go to the people in Haiti?”
Hillary then replied: “You know what? I’m so sorry you believe things that are untrue.”
Before security began hauling her off, Loomer asked: “What happened to Seth Rich? What happened to your health, Hillary?”
That’s when Loomer notice Huma Abedin at the event, so she asked, “When are you gonna divorce your husband for texting underage girls?”
